The Vampire Stalker – Book review

16 Feb

What if the characters in a vampire novel left their world–and came into yours?

Amy is in love with someone who doesn’t exist: Alexander Banks, the dashing hero in a popular series of vampire novels. Then one night, Amy meets a boy who bears an eerie resemblance to Alexander. In fact, he IS Alexander, who has escaped from the pages of the book and is in hot pursuit of a wicked vampire named Vigo. Together, Amy and Alexander set out to track Vigo and learn how and why Alexander crossed over. But when she and Alexander begin to fall for each other, Amy wonders if she even wants him to ever return to the realm of fiction.

So today I read this book.  It took me a few hours to read as I was drawn into the story.  I liked the characters and the flow of the book.  It was different.  Characters come alive from a book?  That’s very cool.  I like how Amy takes charge in this and wants to help Alexander out.  It’s quite an adventure for the two. It took me a while to get into Alexander’s character but overall he’s cool.  The whole book is a bit different and had a nice flow to it.    The one thing that bothered me was that they, the characters from the book came through a portal but why not build that up more? Have a freaky storm or something going on for that?   I think the evil Viggo could  be a bit more evil though too.
The book consists of 257 pages.
Cover Rating: A
Story Rating: B
